This month organized and attended few exciting events
- Erlang Supervision Trees (2 July) - http://www.slideshare.net/digikrit/erlang-supervision-trees
Another erlang meetup to discuss on one of the most interesting topic that brings fault tolerance, recovery & robustness to erlang programs - supervision trees. The presentation goes through basic and advanced examples along with supervision strategies.
- MasterMetaData - Opensource Project Meetup (9th July) - https://www.meetup.com/MasterMetaData/
It was very interesting to discuss the project roadmap and details with few people who came, got insights into few different usecases from different domains. Started exploring data points from different domains - company data (fintech), product data (retail), location & device data (adtech or martech).
- AppFest (15-16 July) http://www.iamai.in/events/developersconference/
I got introduced to the Mobile10x initiative by IAMAI and the AppFest developers conference which was a very good event featuring sessions on different topics related to mobile apps and exhibition with lot of mobile app companies or companies who provide services for mobile apps like testing, security testing, analytics etc. It was a good event and got to know lot of interesting startups around mobile apps.
- VMAX Knowledge Series @ Mobile10x (22 July) http://lnkd.in/f3EP65e
It seems to be very useful series although we attended the last day of the series only but it had very good and informative sessions on App Marketing - PR, App Review Mining etc. Also got to know more details of the Mobile10x program and looks to be very attractive and much needed initiative on getting good quality mobile apps built from India and catering to local or global audiences.
